NO RESERVE AUCTION. Up for sale is a nice 1973 Jaguar XJ12 Series 1 Short Wheel Base Sedan. Only 1700 examples of the short wheelbase V12 sedans were ever produced and not many survivors of this caliber exist currently. We have serviced and maintained this particular Jaguar for over 30 years dating back to the original owner. Extremely solid and original with only 55,000 miles with numbers matching 5.3L 12 cylinder engine. Paint is in excellent shape with only minimal blemishes and scratches from typical wear. Chrome is in fantastic shape on the trim, bumpers, grill, and wheels (rear chrome bumper is starting to exhibit some surface rust that can easily be removed). Red leather interior is also in great shape with all door panels and dash functions intact. The car runs with a shot of starting fluid down the carbs; however it will not stay running. The fuel tanks need to be removed and cleaned and it should be good to go. Previous Jaguar award winner. Gorgeous color combination and with a little work can be an investment grade Jaguar. As-is vehicle/auction.
