So nobody wants this car. Are there any real car people any more? Yes I know it's not beautiful, but it could be with the right owner. Make a reasonable offer and it is yours. News Flush! I was incorrect about the right front floor. It is fine. The front of the rocker panel was repaired and I thought that was the floor. Just to clarify, I have a signed clear title for the car. It is a clean Illinois title signed by all parties. So should not be a problem transferring the title. I let the VIN decode to show that this was a V12 car at birth. It now has a 318ci V8 in place of the V12. Definitely a project car. It runs drives and stops but everything should be gone through. This at one time might have been a very nice engine swap project. So if you ever thought about swapping a V8 into a Jaguar but don't have the time, this might be the thing. As it runs and moves you could work on it at your leisure. Or make it roadworthy and drive as is. The body appears solid but has a smashed left rear door. The good part is there are replacements at a modest price and it is a bolt on repair. The left rocker panel and front door are also damaged. Instead of repairing it how about calling it patina? The interior is not that good. Throw a blanket on the seats and drive as is. Electrics need to be gone through. Engine seems to run okay and has electronic ignition with two barrel carb.. The tranny is GM. Possibly the 400 that came in the car. There is a fuel cell in the trunk. The twin fuel tanks are still in the car but the prior owner said they were no good. You be the judge of that. The tac, amp meter and temp. gauges work but the fuel, oil gauge and speedometer do not. Not asking a lot of money for the car, probably less than what I have in it. Would just like to see someone bring it back to life. Could be a project on the cheap.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
