Ebay item 4/16/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Jaguar-XJ-XJ6C-Hotrod-/162476397762
Car has a buy it now price of $8,850 for 6 days, seller harmony01, 80k miles.

Sellers description:
This is a Super COOL, Jag XJ6C with a Chevy Small Block Conversion in extremely nice, low mile condition. This classic Jag has original miles with approximately 5K on the drivetrain swap. The car was professionally converted to a small block chevy V8 and 4 speed OD auto trans roughly 5 years ago and was placed in storage shortly after. It has been serviced and refreshed is ready to roll. the interior and some of the body trim was never fully reassembled but I have it all and lots of extras. XJ Coupes are rare and this one is a total sleeper... looks, runs and drives factory but with LOTS more power!. Amazingly well preserved and loved Southern Cal car all of its life. This is a perfect power train set up on a beautiful car. Excellent power off the line and will cruise 80-90 all day. The car looks, runs, feels AMAZING. Definite daily driver capable... Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection. It's a driver not a trailer queen but will hold its own at cruises and local shows... not much to make it a big show winner.

Body is super super straight with no rust or collision damage that I can see... It was stripped and painted by the previous seller roughly 5 years ago... very nice driver quality repaint presents beautifully with only some minor blemishes. Seams and rubbers are great and the body, trim, moldings etc are well in tact and in fantastic shape! Some of the body trim was not put back on the car as you cn see in the photos... I have 2 huge crates of those parts and lots of extras... can be fully restored to stock appearance easily. Has factory chrome rims with good tires.

Interior is decent and presents ok. It was completely stripped and only partially reassembled... Seats are nice but rears need to be installed... panels and most trim is in place... needs carpet. Wood is cracked in a few places... mohair headliner is great... main gauges and electronics work properly with a few tweaks still needed... speedo cable needs a converter for the trans... gas gauge is intermittent... AC blows cool not cold... I have an entire extra interior so pretty sure I have most if not all of anything needed.

Rebuilt SBC 350 Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent...has newly rebuilt edelbrock carb and fresh tune... rebuilt trans shifts so smooth through the gears. Suspension has been gone thru and serviced...feels tight and handles excellent. Brakes stop straight and sure. FABULOUS driver.

Overall this is an extremely nice little V8 Jag cruiser in fantastic original condition all around... it is well preserved and restored. Awesome weekend cruiser, potential show car, or addition to any collection. I am a collector... this is a great one for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool, classic rod at a great price.

The car is located in Beverly Hills CA.

Car returns to ebay 2/21/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Jaguar-XJ-Leather/112825098087
Current bid US $5,200 reserve not met 2 bids 6 days left in auction, seller bls208, car now said to be in Newbury Park, California, 80k miles.

Sellers description:
You are bidding on a 1976 Jaguar XJ 4.2 Coupe with a Chevy 350 conversion with the chevy automatic. THIS VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN NEWBURY PARK, CA. AT A JAG RESTORATION SHOP.

The previous owner stated that this engine and trans were rebuilt prior to installation. According to his original ad the engine and trans has about 10K miles at this point. The odometer reading is SUPPOSED to reflect the actual mileage. This car has been a California car all of its life. The car is absolutely rust free and the paint is decent but not great. I would consider the paint driver quality with no emphasis on the word quality. The paint would be best described as a 10' job since it is kind of thick with other flaws. The interior will require restoration and the seats appear to be from a 4 door XJ. The engine runs good but could use a tune up and fresh fluids. I would go through the whole car before driving at any great lengths. The driver floor has been replaced at some point (you can see the weld marks in one of the pics) and the trunk floor is dented. The car is complete with the exception of carpet and the trim that surrounds the gutters.
