Ebay item 12/6/21
www.ebay.com/itm/133955494503
Current bid: $8,000 reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction, seller garvey4719, 76k miles.

Seller's description:
1975 Jaguar XJ6C. One of the most beautiful Jaguar's ever made. The car was a one owner car purchased at Hornburg Jaguar in 1975 and spent most of its life in Los Angeles and Palm Springs. I purchases it about 12 years ago and life happened. I started working on the bottom side up and. The car has all new (10 years ago) suspension and brake components. I had a 3.45 Power Lok rebuilt from an early XJS in thoughts that some day I might do something with the engine. I have 5 beautiful lattice wheels that were chromed and never mounted to the car along with a brand new stainless steel exhaust. I also have a Johns Parts 700 4R transmission conversion kit if one would like to retain the original engine and put a more modern transmission in the car. I also have a brand new wiring harness for the engine. Not overly complicated, but its about 10 wires and connectors and its just nice to have. All the gauges were gone through by Palo Alto Speedometer. I do have the center console and all of the switches available. There is some rust in the roof that will need to be addressed and a small dent in the right quarter (photo attached) from being careless while storing.
There is an interesting story that goes along with the car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
