This 1975 Jaguar XJ6C is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in Pale Primrose over tan Connolly leather, and equipment includes 15″ Dayton wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, retrofitted rack-and-pinion steering, King Springs lowering coils, and an aftermarket stereo and sound system. The seller acquired the car in 2024 and it is now offered in Encinitas, California, with an owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The pillarless coupe body is finished in Pale Primrose, and the seller notes that the driver-side rear quarter panel has been repainted. Features include chrome bumpers, quad round headlights, a Leaper hood ornament, and dual exhaust outlets. An electric antenna was installed in July 2024. Some corrosion is noted on the roof and just in front of the front doors at the bottom.
The 15″ Dayton wire wheels were mounted with 235/60 Cooper Cobra Radial GT tires in September 2024. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear suspension that has been modified with King Springs lowering coils. Work in 2025 is said to have included installing a refurbished rack-and-pinion steering system with new tie rods in addition to fitting front strut spacers and performing a wheel alignment. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front rotors.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in tan Connolly leather and are complemented by burl wood accents. The aftermarket stereo is linked to replacement front speakers and a subwoofer mounted behind the rear seats along with a Pioneer amplifier installed in 2024. Appointments also include automatic climate control, power windows, and central locking. The seller notes that the air conditioning does not work and the driver-side rear power window requires assistance to close. Rust is visible on the floor pans under the front carpets.
The Nardi steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a 5,500-rpm tachometer. The gauges were repaired in 2024. The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter LT1 V8 was sourced from a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro and is fitted with exhaust headers. Service in 2024 included replacing the fuel pump, sending unit, radiator, water pump, and thermostat. In 2025, the alternator, power steering pump, spark plugs, and Optispark distributor were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission.
The car’s chassis number is listed as UF2J50490BW on the California title, which corresponds with the chassis number stamped one of the plates above, although the “BW” suffix is dropped from the tag at the windshield pillar.
