Ebay item 7/11/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1975-Jaguar-XJ-/253037717995
Current bid US $2,025, no reserve, 4 bids 5 days left in auction, seller british_marques, 35k miles.
Sellers description:
Original xj12c Jaguar that is need of restoration. This is similar to the xj6c coupe, has the factory v12.
This car is nearly rust free, refer to the Pics, I noticed light surface rust in the passenger footwell. And a little bubble spot at the base of the A pillar at the windshield about the size of a pencil eraser tip. This is a non runner and in need of some real love, it has been in a heated garage for the last decade waiting to be restored. Pops ran out of time, so it is time for me to move this along to a good home. I think I have priced this fairly based on its current condition. Other than the two spots I located this body and chassis clean and rust free. I installed a temporary battery and the relays kicked on and the car tried to start with no success. At least the motor turned and there is a spare v12 engine and transmission that I will include with the car. There are some Euro looking bumpers too that were in the corner of the building that will also go with the complete car. The doors close like a vault with a solid thud. I am cleaning out pops garage and liquidating his projects projects. This car and spare parts are located in middle Missouri in the center of the state just off highway 70.

1975 JAGUAR XJ12C Series II V12 RARE OPPORTUNITY NO RESERVE
I purchased this vehicle last year with full intentions of restoring it. In late 2017 I decided to downsize from my current garage to a smaller one so a few of my projects will need to be sold. I purchased this vehicle from a gentleman who inherited it from his late father. The father had changed the engine to a later model V12 and unfortunately had never got it running or finished the project. The seller stated that he did not know why his father changed the engine. The vehicle is currently not running. The original engine is out of the car as shown but is included in the sale. The floorboards and trunk look very solid and there is a small area of surface rust as shown. The radio and horn pad were missing when I purchased the car. We cleaned it up and installed new Perelli tires but that is all that we have accomplished. This is a rare car and deserves a complete restoration. The vehicle is located in Cincinnati Ohio.
