Ebay item 6/20/11 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RARE-RARER-RAREST-BEST-BEST-/330578487365
Current bid $18,201 reserve not met, 15 bids 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
The car has been meticulously restored by pros down to the last detail, literally every nut, bolt and washer, and now shows-off a mirror-like black exterior with a stunning forest green leather interior. Once again she has all the beauty, and electrifying performance that Sir William designed into her, she is again truly glorious, better than new. A real 99 point car with only 200 miles on the clock since she came back into service; rolling art.
Dave Smiff of Florida, a renowned professional restoration engineer rebuilt this car from the ground up for a very special customer, himself. Dave has been restoring British cars for over 45 years and he really did this car for himself, and it shows. Dave is a mechanic, so he entrusted another well-known specialist to restore the coachwork and paint finishes to their former glory. Derrick Dunbar, an experienced Rolls Royce trained upholsterer was chosen as the craftsman that would reproduce the magnificent interior from the finest materials and hides available.
This is one of only 60 or so carbureted coupes that were ever made, and this is one of a handful still existing.
If you are looking for a first class example of a V12 coupe this is the one you'll want. Its cost is far less than that of rebuilding one or buying a new Jaguar. Consider adding this beautifully handcrafted reincarnation of a classically graceful car to your collection, it is a premium quality example of the marque.

For some reason the above auction was pulled and replace by this one 6/22/12 seePaulRussell.com). NOTE: (I have yet to find a professionally restored V12 Coupe offered for sale) There were only 1359 left Hand drive cars produced. Not to mention how many are still on the Road! This car is one of Only 60-or so Coupe's known to exist that are Carbureted. This is Due to the fact that British Leyland's Fuel Injected Engine wasn't ready for the Market in early 1975. Although Tons of marketing had been done for the Debut of the 1975 Fuel injection V12-Coupe. British Leyland then opted to use there proven Carbureted 5.4 Shorter Stroke High Revving V12 until the ejected version could meet production. The pictures will give you some idea, but if you are looking for a truly great 12 cylinder Coupe for far less than the cost of rebuilding one or buying a new Jaguar Today you might want to consider this car in your collection.
