Ebay item 9/30/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Buy it now price $50,000 for 9 days.

Sellers description:
First time listed, this is one of the rarest and most collectible of all Jaguars ever produced, and it has only 4000 authentic documented original miles, and it has never been titled or registered !!!!!!! I even have the original certificate or origin from Jaguar!!!! Vehicle Identification Number is UF2G50141BW.

This 1975 Jaguar XJ12C V12 Fuel Injected Coupe is one of only 1269 left hand drives produced, with only about 300 rumored to still be on the road. This is without question or doubt, the lowest mileage pristine most original example on the planet!!

This particular example was purchased from the Jaguar Dealer in Hartford, CT brand new in 1975 by the original owners, who also happened to have their own dealership, thus, the reason for never registering the vehicle. They drove the vehicle on their own dealer marker license plate, and never registered the coupe. The original certificate of origin is absolutely pristine. They were avid collectors, with over 20 different exotic collectibles on their showroom floor, which was in Tolland CT......it was always stored indoors, and driven only sparingly. One look at this car from any person, whether they be an expert, or a novice, will authenticate the true mileage on this beauty. There is no doubt!

What a masterpiece this automobile is.......I currently have it on display in my showroom, and it is so painstakingly correct and original in every aspect, people can't believe it! It is truly like taking a trip back into time!!! Other than changing the starter (I have the original as well), the tires, and the battery, I feel confident that this Jaguar is 100% factory correct and original! Starts right up, and warms up to a perfect V12 purr.......transmission shifts and drives smoothly, and brakes feel as new. I hated to drive it, but took it out to take some outdoor pictures, and could not believe how well it performed, it actually felt like I was driving a new 1975!!! The original Connolly Leather is as new as well, with literally no signs of wear or tear, and beyond comfortable. And EVERYTHING works!

This particular car is the exact copy of the Jaguar XJ12C that Jaguar used in it's original sales brochure. Same color, same top, and I even have the original brochure, and owner's manuals and books as well.

Jaguar describes the XJ12C as " the ultimate coupe. It incorporates all the fabulous attributes of the XJ12 in a slightly more compact, two door, pillarless, vinyl top edition. It has the electronically fuel injected V12 engine. But the XJ12C is more than that. It is a Jaguar, which means it is one of the most luxurious, responsive, and best handling cars in the world. It has 4 wheel independent suspension, limited slip differential, 4 wheel power disc brakes, and power assisted rack and pinion steering.

Inside, the XJ12C is a true expression of luxury and fine craftmanship. The dash is burled walnut, the seat facings, hand matched leather, the carpeting, luxurious, in fact, the general level of amenity is outstanding.

Some features that were truly unique back in the day that pertain to this car were the extra wide door for easy access to the sedan like comfort of the rear seats, the short stroke V12 engine was a EFI version of the engine that powered Jaguar to the national SCCA Championship in Class E Production. The air conditioning system regulates itself to the actual temperature setting, which was unheard of at that time. The command center of the XJ12C is sumptuous, with the original am/fm radio, stereophonic speakers and eight track tape deck in perfect order, and the dual fuel tanks with switch as well.

It has 4 wheel independent suspension, limited slip differential, four wheel power disc brakes and power assist rack and pinion steering.
