Current bid $7,500 reserve not met, 1 bid 9 days left in auction. 74k miles.
Sellers description:
1975 Jaguar XJ12C. Jaguar only produced 805 12 cylinder coupes in 1975. This body style was the favorite of Sir William Lyons, the legendary Jaguar designer. This example underwent a complete restoration by a well known Jaguar specialist in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1989. Photos of this complete process are available. The car was originally gray with a black vinyl roof and was completely stripped and repainted in Jaguar Grenadine Red. All glass and interior panels were removed during the painting process. The original V12 engine was replaced with a GM 400 V8 mated to the original automatic transmission. The transmission was rebuilt and had a performance shift kit installed. This car has been driven on a regular basis since 1989 and has performed quite well. The owner has just recently installed a new GM 350 HO Crate Motor which cost $6,000.00 installed. We have receipts and documentation to verify this. The interior leather was replaced with Bridge of Wier Leather in color black. Instrument panel wood and all gauges are in excellent condition. This car runs and drives great with Lots of reliable power. The paint is now 22 years old and is faded on the top surfaces. Chrome and trim are all excellent.
