Ebay item 7/29/21www.ebay.com/itm/203538105367
Current bid: $1,025 reserve not met 6 bids 3 days left in auction, seller brickabrakenat, 45k miles.
Seller's description:
1973 Jaguar XJ12. Mark I body, one of the last production Mark 1 bodies, equipped with the venerable V12 engine. This car has been in dry storage since 1989. It has four rebuilt stromberg carburetors that have never had fuel run through them. The last time it was started was in august of 2012 when the carbs were removed for rebuild. It has original paint with a few blemishes, the Connolly hides are soft and supple, and the carpets are in excellent condition. The headliner has been removed due to sag, and the wood trim has some mild cracking from age. The odometer shows 45,134 miles which is true mileage. It is equipped with the Borg Warner 3 speed automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, power windows, and aftermarket late seventies Sanyo AM/FM stereo receiver. The tires hold air but are old and should be replaced before driving. The car is in overall good condition and with little work will be roadworthy. I am losing my storage that I have secured for nearly ten years as the landlord has sold the building. My loss is your gain, this is an excellent opportunity to own this beautiful historic piece of British motoring excellence.
