Lot #101032

This 1985 Jaguar Vanden Plas is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and finished in Georgian Gold over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes bright trim, chrome-accented impact bumpers, 15″ alloy wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes, as well as automatic climate control, cruise control, a digital trip computer, and an Alpine CD stereo. The car has remained registered in Florida from 1995 through the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2022. This Vanden Plas is now offered at no reserve with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.

The car is finished in Georgian Gold and features a Leaper hood ornament, Vanden Plas badging, a sunroof wind deflector, a power-retractable antenna, bright wheel arch trim, chrome-accented impact bumpers, quad headlights, and dual polished exhaust outlets. The seller states the sunroof is inoperable and paintwork is evident on the roof. The right fender is dented, and paint blemishes are present on the rear center panel and badging.

Kent 15″ alloy wheels wear Jaguar center caps and are mounted with Pirelli P4 tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in beige leather, and wood veneer accents the dashboard, center stack, and doors. Amenities include automatic climate control, an adjustable steering column, a digital trip computer, and an aftermarket Alpine CD stereo. The leather upholstery shows cracks, wear, and torn seams.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a 5,500-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 70k miles, while the Carfax report shows 78k reported miles in a 1998 entry. True mileage is unknown.

The fuel-injected 4.2-liter inline-six was factory rated at 176 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
