The words mint, original and superb are bandied around a lot, but in this case we run out of superlatives, this car is in unbelievable original condition. The Tudor White coachwork is superb and 100% original, no touch up ever, this car has been cosseted and used very carefully. At first glance the Biscuit tan leather looks new and it's only after very close inspection that you see it is original and perfect. This car is so good it's hard to describe and we are very happy to show it in person. It is at Milpas Motors in Santa Barbara. An inspection and test drive can be easily arranged . Mechanically the car is superb it needs nothing, the AC blows ice cold and all the windows,door locks and sunroof work as they should. The car has had two owners and was sold new by Valley Jaguar, Murray, Utah. The miles are original at only 55,748 which equates to a mere 1800 miles a year. The car has a clean Carfax that supports the mileage. We had the car inspected by local British car mechanic Roy Miller (well known Pebble Beach Concours judge) who was amazed at the originality and condition of this car, he changed the oil and gave it a full safety check. The car was driven from Utah to Ventura, California and did not miss a beat so we are confident that the car could be driven anywhere, but the tires are original Pirrelis and if the car is going to be a daily driver they will need to be replaced.
This truly is a special car and as one of the last classic pre Ford Jaguars is bound to be a great long term investment, to restore a car to factory standards like this would probably cost in excess of $50,000 so it is far better to buy great original car than try and remake an old beater.
The car has passed a California Smog test and the certificate will come with the car.
