HAS ONLY 73K ORIGINAL MILES!
AND A BEAUTIFUL ALL ORIGINAL INTERIOR!
WITH COLD AC!
AND RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT!
The exterior of this XJ6 is in excellent condition considering it is British and 25 years old. The car is virtually rust free. We noticed a small patch in front of the right rear wheel. There is another area behind the left front wheel that looks like rust but it is more just a large paint chip that is showing surface corrosion and not rust under it. The black paint is original. We didn't have this car detailed for the pictures because we didn't want to try to hide anything. So it was not what we would call clean as you're seeing it. It is looking good from a distance but is showing the common British series of very small cracks in the paint when you look at it closer. It is hard to see in the pictures on an overcast day but it is there on the flat and side surfaces. You can also see areas where the paint is muddy and/or faded especially in the gas cap area were fuel overflow has dulled the paint. We were very impressed with the overall condition of this exterior. It is very hard to find them still original looking this nice. It's condition and the very low miles were what sold it for us! Our hat is off to the previous owners of this Jag at how well it was cared for!
The dash area is in the same excellent condition as the rest of the car! The dash itself has only a few cracks on it from age. The wood accents are all in very nice condition with only normal age cracking seen in a few places. We were very surprised to see all of the luxury features working! The stock stereo sounds very nice! All the windows are working though we noticed the rear windows worked a little slow. The power mirrors both work! The Jaguar trip computer (fancy and expensive for the time period) works fine and the LEDs are still bright. All the gauges still work fine! The sunroof works and the headliner looks fine. Best of all the climate control system works great and the AC is putting out cold air (Glory Hallelujah!) The only feature I couldn't figure out was the cruise control. I couldn't get it to work but I wasn't trying it out at highway speeds and I also didn't consult the manual so I might not be doing something right. We're tickled pink with how great all the control areas are with this Jag and believe that the high bidder will be as well!
