Ebay item 10/17/18
www.ebay.com/itm/1983-Jaguar-XJ6/183489268492
Starting bid: $1,000 reserve not met 0 bids 6 days left in auction seller brett04fsu, 193k miles.

Seller's description:
1986 Jaguar XJ6 for sale with a custom Nardi steering wheel. I am listing the car on behalf of my dad and will provide as much information as I can. The car has belonged to my parents since the 90's, the previous owner converted the car to a Chevy 350 V8 that has roughly 50k miles on it as of today. The odometer on the car says around 193k miles. The car was painted roughly 15 years ago and has been garage kept since that time. As you can see from the photo, it is missing a turn signal and a piece of the drivers side bumper, otherwise the body is solid. The car runs and drives but I wouldn't recommend driving it more than 20 miles without getting a full tune up and/or inspection. Prior to a few months ago the car mostly sat in the garage undriven. A mechanic stated both gas tanks need to be replaced but he was unable to find replacement parts, in the interim he put a gas tank in the trunk of the car. A/C used to run but doesn't right now. It could need freeon or something more. The car also has an electrical kill switch under the passenger side front fender to prevent the battery from draining when not in use. The transmission works fine, however during the (engine) conversion process the gearbox did not line up correctly and as a result each gear other than park is one gear lower on the shifter, i.e. put it in "N" for reverse, ""D" for neutral, and so on. I have tried to be as up front as possible with the condition of the vehicle but I'm happy to answer whatever questions you may have about the car.

Car returns to ebay 4/12/22

www.ebay.com/itm/175237556325

Car has a buy it now price of $16,500 for 29 days, seller sk8ernemerica, 89k miles. Car now in Orlando, Florida, previously Clearwater, Florida.

Seller's description:

This is a BEAUTIFUL restomod of a 1983 Jaguar XJ6 paired with the power of a Chevy 350 small block / turbo TH350 transmission. This car has been extensively gone through and everything in the engine bay is new! Crate engine has been fully tuned up and refreshed and it runs and drives amazing. It is incredibly smooth and gets tons of looks. Everything professionally done with Johns conversation kit to accept the new drivetrain. I’ve seen a lot of these builds and this one is exceptionally done. Overall engine conversion/reliability 10/10. Interior came out of a mint SIII and the leather is in great shape and very comfortable - backseat looks like it hardly been sat in! The original Nardi steering wheel was completely refinished and all rest of interior wood is in great shape. Interior is 9/10.

All rust repair has been done, floor pans redone, all body work done and body is EXTREMELY straight (check out the door lines, wow!) great job done by the body shop and a very nice charcoal paint job fits this jag nicely. All window seals have been replaced as well. Exterior 9.5/10. Fitted with all new suspension and new disc brakes up front with the well engineered rear drum brakes, the new brake booster and braking system ensures that this fast cat will stop when you need it to. Car is not only fast but smooth as silk. Overall ride quality 9/10. Brand new wheels and tires compliment the car beautifully and gives it an aggressive look. All electronics work along with the a/c system. Overall, this car looks amazing, drives amazing and gets looks and compliments galore. For 39 year old vehicle it looks absolutely gorgeous and is in great shape for its age. A few things to be known: headliner needs replaced, has 19 gallon fuel cell in the trunk (original gas tanks look clean just figured I’d let the new owner decide what to do with it. Fuel cell works great.) Rear tires rub slightly if car is weighed down with multiple people (just needs suspension stiffened up a bit, easy fix) a/c works and all components are new but needs to be charged. Besides these minor adjustments this car has been garage kept it’s ENTIRE life. I have never driven it in the rain and have taken great care of it. Only reason for selling is I have too many toys. Over $30k invested. My loss is your gain.
