Ebay item 3/17/21www.ebay.com/itm/1985-Jaguar-XJ6/274722558934
Car has a buy it now price of $8,000 for 29 days, seller 1440springsidect, 216k miles.
Seller's description:
Bought the car new in November 1985. This was my dream car, lovingly maintained, garaged and covered. I bought a wrecked Jaguar XJS in the late 90's for parts. Used that straight 6 and drive train to replace original. Bought and had installed a Connolly leather kit mid-90's, unfortunately they bought the wrong color, saddle instead of the original Buckskin. The Wilton wool carpets shows the contrast of color. Had it repainted mid-90's in original Claret color sparing no expense. I hate to let it go, but am retired and repairs are just too expensive. The water pump leaks sometimes. The driver side gas tank leaks sometimes. The right headlamp low beam does not work sometimes. A/C works most of the time. The bonnet release works most of the time. If you have any experience with Jaguar's, you understand "sometimes". I drive it gently every few days. It still makes a statement.
