This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Dorchester Grey over Biscuit leather. Features include 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Leaper hood ornament, a sunroof, pinstripes, a power antenna, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, front bucket seats, automatic climate control, and power windows. The car shows 107k miles following history in California and Oklahoma. This Series III XJ6 is now offered by the selling dealer with the owner’s manual, a stamped maintenance booklet, service records, and a clean Oklahoma title.
The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Dorchester Grey (LDP) and features a Leaper hood ornament, a power sunroof, pinstripes, a power antenna, power-adjustable side mirrors, bright trim, and dual exhaust outlets. An accident in which the airbags did not deploy with resulting damage to the left side is indicated in a May 2011 Carfax entry, and “very minor damage” to the right is listed in March 2021.
The 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels are mounted with 205/75 Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires, and braking is handled by ventilated front and solid inboard rear discs.
The seating surfaces are trimmed in Biscuit leather (ADE), while burl wood accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a trip computer, front bucket seats, automatic climate control, and power windows and locks. The cruise control function is inoperable, and one of the rear door locks is only operated by the central locking system.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 107k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory rated at 205 horsepower and 231 lb-ft of torque and is said to have received a rebuild in 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission.

The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage. An entry in March 2016 states that the car was designated a gross polluter in California, although the car has since passed California emissions inspections.
