This 1983 Jaguar XJ6 remained registered in California until 2015 and was recently purchased out of Nevada by the seller in 2025. Powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, the car is finished in Tudor White over Biscuit leather upholstery. Features include a sunroof, a power antenna, 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, front bucket seats, automatic climate control, and power windows. Work completed in 2025 included replacing the tires, battery, and water pump. This Series III XJ6 is offered at no reserve with a clean Carfax report and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.
The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Tudor White (NDC) and features a Leaper hood ornament, a power sunroof, a power antenna, power-adjustable side mirrors, bright trim, and dual exhaust outlets. Dings and paint chips are noted by the seller.
The 15″ Kent vented alloy wheels are fitted with Sceptor 4XS tires that were mounted in 2025, and braking is handled by ventilated front and solid inboard rear discs.
The seating surfaces are trimmed in Biscuit leather (ADE), while burl wood accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Sheepskin covers sit over the front bucket seats, and interior equipment includes an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a trip computer, automatic climate control, and power windows and locks. The cruise control does not work.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 122k miles, approximately 650 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory rated at 205 horsepower and 231 lb-ft of torque. The battery and water pump were replaced in 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a BorgWarner three-speed automatic transmission.
