www.barons-auctions.com/details.php
Auction description:
Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
Model XJ6 S2 SWB Manual o/d
First Registered 1974
Registration No PSM 262M
Engine No 7486996
Chassis No 2N4785DN
MOT March 2013
Colour Regency Red
Offered here is a rare manual overdrive example of the S2 4.2 SWB saloon, which is described as being a very original car, which has never seen a welding torch and has covered a mere 59,000 miles in 38 years. Finished in regency red with beige leather, the car has benefited from a high quality repaint in 2011, as a result of fading original paintwork.
Said to drive exceptionally well, this 4-speed manual, short wheelbase XJ6 is a real rarity. Apart from the repaint, the car remains original in every way and is offered with an MoT through to March 2013, tax through to August 2012 and photographs of the car before the repaint, showing how sound the car was.
A rare opportunity offering outstanding value.
Guide Price: £4750 to £5500

This striking example represents one of the few short wheelbase examples combined with a manual gearbox. Presented in red with a contrasting tan interior, the overall condition is extremely good throughout.
