    On the 29th January 1975 Jaguar XJ12C #2G50002 was sent to to the Vanden Plas Coachworks company, in Kingsbury London. Converted to the only Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas Coupé ever made. Exterior: Regency Red, Interior: Chamois

    May 2000: Jaguar Enthusiast, UK club magazine, article re this car at pp 28-29. Prototype car, one of first 4 XJCs built, carburetters (not fuel injected). Converted to Vanden Plas trim etc, repainted and retrimmed. Owned in May 2000 in Germany by Hans Peter Bruggemann. The Vanden Plas variation apparently never went into production.
