- Headliner sags

- Driver side door opens and only from outside currently

- Passenger side door does not open

- Radio antenna has been removed

- Liner under steering wheel needs to be replaced

- some body rust

- still leaks a little oil

 - Needs paint

- Ideally needs a full restoration or someone willing to put in the time and love and work

History:

Ive kept all service records during my ownership.

1971 - original owner in Reno, NV (have the original dealer paperwork and license number)

? second owner in Modesto, CA

10/26/2008 - 9/15/25 - Robert R. Santa Barbara, CA

09/15/25 - Current (myself) Santa Barbara, CA

Repairs done at time of purchase by to repair visible oil leak. Repairs were $1700 and fixed oil leak the top half of the engine. Done by Winning Makes in Santa Barbara. She really is begging for someone with a keen eye or trained hand to come in and bring her back to her original glory. That was my plan, but my business partner has since taken leave and I cannot do this on my own and need to let her go sadly. She drives and starts just fine but this is a car with a great history that needs to be properly taken care of.

Comes with ALL the ORIGINAL paperwork and handbooks, two sets of original keys and original mini Jag emblem keychain and even the paperwork of the original buyer of the Jag! For someone who loves history of legendary vehicles, this is a home run for a full resto or a mechanic who is willing to put in the time. I have all the original parts in the car.

The bottom line is this thing needs love and someone who sees her potential as I do, but unfortunately do not have the means to expend.

It is driveable, registered in California until May of 2026

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
