Sellers description: 1971 JAGUAR XJ6 Sedan is in Willow Green with the contrasting Green leather interior. This XJ6 is one of very few remaining examples in un-molested condition,and is in great condition for its age.The car is all original and and has always been garaged so there is NO rust anywhere on the car, and that includes none around the wheel wells, floors, doors, fenders between the tail pipes or underneath the car. The car has only had one respray in its original Willow Green and it is in jaw dropping condition with a brilliant shine to the paint and the chrome and literally only has one very small door ding that can easily be removed. The original interior has a great aroma of an old jag and is in a beautiful light green and the leather as well as the carpets are in great condition with hardly any wear to the seats, and the original headliner is also in great condition. The Engine compartment is also clean with many many new parts ,including a $1000+ stainless steel exhaust system .The trunk is also very clean with its original carpet and trim and still has the original spare and tools,there is also NO rust on the trunk floor. Mechanically the car is excellent running and driving condition steers very tight and tops on a dime it also does not leak drip, burn or smoke, having a $1100+ service done including new carb components and fuel only 300 miles ago and has been garaged most of that time, all fluids were changed including the gas was drained, cleaned the tanks and also also all new filters and gaskets .Everything works as it should including very hot heat, haven't used the a/c because its so cold here and all gauges, windows, radio work as they should. The only upgrade to the car is the cassette radio with CD changer in the trunk and an alarm that I also don't use. It is a beautiful and breathtaking rare car in this condition but I am limited on garage space so a couple cars must go. I am the only the 2nd owner of the car and it was purchased from the original owners and it is beautiful and although it is 39y.o it is not far from flawless but it is a jaguar after all.
