I just purchased this car and don't have all the numbers or data but I'll add them later. It needs some brake work before I can drive it since it has been sitting for a year and a half. Hopefully on the road soon.

This 1976 Jaguar XJ6C coupe was acquired by the selling dealer in 2020 and subsequently underwent a refurbishment that involved the installation of a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 and four-speed automatic transmission sourced from a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro. The Jaguar was also repainted in Sapphire Blue Metallic, Euro-style bumpers were installed, and the interior was retrimmed in tan Connolly leather. Equipment includes a black vinyl roof, Bilstein shocks, chrome wheels, hubcaps, power steering, wood interior trim, automatic climate control, an AM/FM stereo, and a Bell stainless-steel dual exhaust system. This modified Series II XJ6 coupe is now offered with recent service records, engine-rebuild photos, and a Florida title in the selling dealer’s name.
The two-door hardtop was stripped and repainted in Sapphire Blue Metallic during the 2020–2021 refurbishment, according to the seller. Euro bumpers have been installed, the windshield was replaced, and other features include a black vinyl roof, quad round headlights, a Leaper hood ornament, dual side mirrors, twin fuel-filler doors, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome-finished 15″ ventilated steel wheels feature Jaguar-logo hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires measuring 235/60. The car is equipped with an independent front and rear suspension and Bilstein shocks as well as front and rear disc brakes. The tires and brakes were replaced during the build.
The front bucket seats and rear bench were reupholstered in tan Connolly leather during the aforementioned refurbishment, which also saw replacement of the door cards, dash pad, headliner, and sun visors. Appointments include burl wood accents, automatic climate control, power windows, central locking, and an AM/FM stereo. The rear-window defroster does not work.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 5,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 5k of which were added by the selling dealer, who states that the odometer reading is not accurate, and true mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 originated in a 2000 Camaro, and its top end was rebuilt in 2020 before the engine was installed in this vehicle. The Chevrolet-specification alternator, A/C compressor, and power steering were replaced at the time of the swap. The seller notes that there is a leak in the heater box, which means that the air conditioning needs to be recharged every year or two.
The four-speed automatic transmission also was sourced from the aforementioned Camaro, and it was rebuilt in 2020 before being adapted to the Jaguar. The car is equipped with a Bell stainless-steel dual exhaust system.
The tag shows the chassis number UG2J51891, whereas the title cites that sequence plus a “BW” suffix, reading UG2J51891BW.
The Florida title lists “Other Jurisdiction Brands: PA-Classic – Over 20 Yrs Old”.
